RTP180 is a lively speaker series that takes place once a quarter on the third Thursday of the month. Held at Frontier RTP’s 800 Building, Research Triangle Park’s innovation community, no two events are alike.

We choose a new topic to discover each event. Then, we find the brightest minds and best storytellers from the Triangle region to teach us more about it. We love seeing where our speakers (and audience) take things each month. Plus, special pop-up programming before the show starts!

RTP180 is presented by RTI International. We also are supported by our Contributing Partner, Zaremba Management Company.

The most unique thing about RTP180 is the format. We limit each speaker to 5 minutes, with another 5 minutes of Q&A. You, the audience, get the quick and dirty, and then have your chance to learn more about what interests you.

What’s new and exciting this year? Before our speakers take center stage, attendees can indulge in complimentary drinks, snacks and rotating pop-ups that are out-of-the-box, engaging and unique to the topic.

Here's what you can expect each show:

• 5:00 pm: Doors open for beer, wine, snacks and a pop-up with a twist.
• 6:00 pm: The show begins!
• 7:00 ish: The show ends and the bar opens back up.
• 7:45 pm: Everybody goes home!
