*VIRTUAL* RTP180: The Next Generation

AUGUST’S RTP180 TOPIC | THE NEXT GENERATION

PRESENTED BY RTI INTERNATIONAL

How can we set our children up for success? What can be done now to ensure they become well-rounded, emotionally intelligent and connected individuals?

This event isn’t just for parents or caregivers; we will cover a range of societal topics that will affect the next generation here in the Triangle. The twist: while these topics could be discussed for hours, and each of our five experts have tons to share their perspective, they have only five minutes to do it.

Our team has been working behind the scenes to continue to bring you RTP180 in the comfort of your homes. This mission of this event, telling the stories of innovations and talent in this region, remains as important as ever, and the show must go on. This month you can join us via Zoom’s webinar feature. The first 100 folks to RSVP will receive a followup email with the Zoom link and password to participate in the session. If you are unable to secure a virtual Zoom ticket, never fear! We will be live-streaming this event on our Facebook Page.

Speakers

William Jackson | Village of Wisdom

Gab Smith | CAM Raleigh

Diana Fishbein | Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute

Sharon Hirsch | Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina

About RTP180

Innovation. Education. Industry. These are powerful angles—and what Research Triangle Park is known for. At RTP180, speakers from our three founding universities, Park companies, and the community-at-large are called upon to take the stage to speak passionately about what matters to them. The twist? They must do it in 5 minutes or less!

Virtual doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the preshow slides. Show kicks off at 6:00pm, sharp.
