*VIRTUAL* On the Menu: Value Propositions in Business & Beyond

On the Menu is going virtual!

For this session of On The Menu, we are bringing in Sara Abernethy, the Director of Business Development at Cloud Giants, for a discussion focused on marketing yourself and your business. The most valuable tool in your “Sales Toolkit” is the ability to clearly and concisely describe to others what you do and why it’s awesome, otherwise known as a value proposition. We will cover what a value proposition is, how to think about building one, and how a strong value proposition can serve you both in your sales career but in other aspects of your life.

Now, more than ever, it is important to learn how to market yourself and stand out from the crowd. Many North Carolinians have lost their jobs and many businesses will have to rebuild their workforce, as well as their client base, in the coming months. We invite you to share this event with anyone you know who may need to brush up on these skills during this changing climate; it is free to attend!

Like many of you, we are keeping an eye on the recommendations from the Governor and the CDC regarding gathering sand social distancing. For now, we will plan to host this event virtually. If we get some positive news over the next few weeks, we will regroup and put a plan in place to host a safe and successful in-person session at Frontier RTP. We will keep all attendees updated with information via email.

Game Plan

11:30am | Virtual “Waiting Room” opens

12:00pm | Event begins

12:50pm | Q&A

1:00pm | Go on back to work!

What’s On The Menu?

At Frontier RTP, we are constantly growing, and hope you will come along for the ride with us! We developed On the Menu as a way of helping you and your business grow to the next level.

Each month, we’ll offer a lunchtime workshop on a special topic related to small businesses or startups. On the Menu will be taught by a diverse group of experts from around the Triangle (some of whom started their business here at Frontier RTP!) in a small group setting.

Our hope is that these workshops will not only be rich in content, but spark dialogue, start relationships, and make your lunch break meaningful. Unfortunately due to Covid-19, we are unable to host this in person and provide you a lunch from a local restaurant or catering company. Since these events happen during lunch hour, feel free to munch while the speaker is talking; microphones will be off.
