Frontier Fam Creatives: Community Coloring Book

Coloring books not only stimulate your creativity, they improve focus and provide a quiet, calming activity.

Like most trends, coloring has come back into style! But now, the activity isn’t just for kids, and we need your helping creating a Frontier RTP Community Coloring Book.

During this session, each participant will create their own page for our coloring book. Then, we will compile all of the pages and create a PDF document to share with the community to be enjoyed at home with their families during quarantine.

Every coloring book needs a theme, and ours is Summer! Start thinking of what summer looks like for you, and how it could be expressed through your art. Some ideas include drawing a beach, palm trees, fruits, or even something abstract that shows your feelings about this season!

All levels of artist are welcome! Gather the materials listed below and let’s get creative.

You will need:

• 8.5×11 Printer Paper
• Pencil
• Pen or Sharpie (to retrace over the pencil)
• Scanner or scanner app on your phone or device. We recommend Simple Scan, CamScanner & TinyScan (Tiny Scanner on Android), they are free!

Join us (virtually) every other Tuesday at 11:30am for a 30-minute creative activity with the Frontier RTP staff. These FREE events are open to everyone. Bring your kids, bring your pets, or just bring yourself! The Zoom link will be emailed to you upon registration.
