*Virtual* On the Menu: Zoom like an Actor

It goes without saying, communication has changed drastically in the past year! How do you continue to build authentic connections with your audience in a Zoom world? Now, when thinking about your audience, think broadly from 1 on 1 meetings to full “Zoom Rooms” where you might be giving a presentation. Being able to connect with people through a lens and from behind a computer screen takes talent, and a hint of acting!

Join us on March 8 to learn some tips and tricks from seasoned actor, and OTM regular, Camille Kauer. It is not second nature to come across as authentic over Zoom, or whatever your preferred platform is. Come ready to jump in with some mock interviews to practice what you learn.

Like many of you, we are keeping an eye on the recommendations from the Governor and the CDC regarding gatherings and social distancing. We will continue to host these “Lunch & Learn” events virtually until we receive better news regarding COVID-19 cases in North Carolina

Game Plan

11:30am | Virtual doors to the waiting room open

12:00pm | Event begins

1:00pm | Go on back to work!

Our Session Leader

Camille Kauer grew up in a film family. Her father is an award-winning UPM (Unit Production Manager) and her mom is a noted artist and retired stunt woman; both still working in the film industry today! As a SAG-AFTRA actor herself, Camille has over 20 years experience working in commercials, film and TV. In 2016 Camille, needed another way to stay connected with her film community and began working as a media journalist and radio personality. She now hosts The E-Spot with Camille and is a featured host on the Chicago based podcast, Grateful Goddesses.

What’s On The Menu?

At Frontier RTP, we are constantly growing, and hope you will come along for the ride! We developed On the Menu as a way of helping you and your business grow to the next level, whatever that next level may be.

Each month, we offer a lunchtime workshop on a special topic related to small businesses or startups. On the Menu will be taught by a diverse group of experts from around the Triangle (some of whom started their business here at Frontier RTP!) in a small group setting.

Our hope is that these workshops will not only be rich in content, but spark dialogue, start relationships, and make your lunch break meaningful. Did we mention there will be food? Well, back when we held these events in person we provided lunch. Because we are virtual now, we certainly encourage you to make some lunch & join us!
