*Virtual* RTPfit: Meditation
If we learned anything from quarantine, it is the importance of staying present and well. Since we cannot practice together in the hammocks on campus just yet, we have decided to take our May Meditation sessions virtual.
Each Thursday from 11:45 a.m to 12:15 p.m., take just 30 minutes to check in with yourself at RTPfit Meditation. We are pleased to be able to continue this program, led by Haven E. Carter, on Zoom this month.
Join us this week as we explore the topic of Feeling Emotions at Work. According to research, an emotional wave takes only 90 seconds to wash over us and be gone. Why do we still feel it? And why can’t I control it?
These sessions will take place each week in the blue hammocks located near the red pathway in front of Frontier 800. In the event of inclement weather, this session will be held inside Frontier 800 in the Fusion room. As always, these events are free to attend and are open to anyone in the Triangle. Hammocks are first come first serve, but there is plenty of room on the ground if they fill up. BYO mat or towel just in case.
