On the Menu: Navigating Your Plot Twist

What do you do when life throws you a curveball that you didn’t see coming? In the ultimate era of learning how to pivot and create backup plans B, C, and D, one of the most important skills across any industry (and in life) is learning to navigate your personal plot twist.

We’ll chat about how to find the positive in the unexpected, ways that you can adapt your skills and past experience to help you find new opportunities, and map out how to transform some of the toughest times in your life into the best parts of your story.

In an effort to keep this event accessible, we will be offering a hybrid experience for participants. When checking out, be mindful to select between an “In-Person Ticket” and a “Zoom Ticket”. For those attending in person, we will be providing a safe, sanitized space. For those not located in NC or remaining cautious, we welcome you to join us over zoom.

Our Session Leader

Stacy Ahua is the owner of Usu Company Candles, a Raleigh-based small business dedicated to scent design, candle making and storytelling through scent. As the youngest of three daughters born to Nigerian parents, Usu Company Candles was created as a way to honor individual culture while making meaningful connections with people from all walks of life. Stacy is a devoted member to her community and is passionate about elevating issues and opportunities for women, growing businesses, and creatives.

What’s On The Menu?

At Frontier RTP, we are constantly growing, and hope you will come along for the ride! We developed On the Menu as a way of helping you and your business grow to the next level, whatever that next level may be.

Each month, we offer a lunchtime workshop on a special topic related to small businesses or startups. On the Menu is taught by a diverse group of experts from around the Triangle (some of whom started their business here at Frontier RTP!) in a small group setting.

Our hope is that these workshops will not only be rich in content, but spark dialogue, start relationships, and make your lunch break meaningful. Did we mention there will be food? For those joining us in-person, there will be a free lunch available. If you are joining us virtually, we invite you to bring your lunch to the Zoom. No shame in eating with your camera on!
