Adopt a Family This Giving Season

As November is upon us, it is time to start thinking about the reason for the season. Here at The Frontier, we have decided to embrace the season of giving by partnering with Durham Social Services and The Volunteer Center to bring our community the opportunity to give back. We are asking you to open your hearts and adopt an individual or family. We have had an overwhelming amount of support and within two weeks of announcing the 43 individuals we were given, we are happy to announce they have all be adopted. BUT…. We don’t want to stop there. So, we decided to add more individuals that need help this giving season and we want your help!

If you are interested in adopting, please contact Amanda or visit Caitlin, our Community Coordinator at The Frontier to sign up.

Here’s how it works:
1.) View Google Doc and choose an individual/family.
2.) Email Amanda or stop by and see Caitlin at The Frontier, and tell them which individual/ family you are adopting. They will give you additional information.
3.) Attend the Potluck Lunch in The Atrium at The Frontier on December 6th and wrap your gift.
4.) Bring your gift to The Frontier anytime between December 6th – December 8th until 12pm.
(The Frontier staff will deliver all gifts to The Volunteer Center on December 8th.)

Important dates:
December 6th | Wrapping Potluck Lunch in The Atrium.
December 6th, December 7th, December 8th until 12pm | Gift collection at The Frontier.
December 8th | We will be dropping off gifts at The Volunteer Center from The Frontier.

*If you prefer to drop your donation off yourself, they you can do that between November 29th and December 10th.
**There is a $50-dollar minimum for your gift(s) per individual adopted.

If you have questions or would like more information on The Giving Wall stop by The Frontier or contact Amanda.
