OOO MeetUp: Triangle Climate Connections

What are OOO Meetups?

At Frontier RTP, we are constantly growing and making connections. We developed OOO Meetups as a way to help connect like-minded professionals, entrepreneurs and industry insiders during our regular, weekly Out of Office “OOO” events.

With each meetup, we work with a co-host to facilitate the networking or educational sessions while we pour the drinks. 

Our hope is that the meetups will spark dialogue, start relationships and make your happy hour meaningful. Did we mention there will be free craft beer, wine selected by RTP Uncorked, and non-alcoholic options?

About the Meetup

The Triangle has no shortage of people working on climate solutions. The harder part is making sure they know one another.

Join Carolina Climate and Duke Design Climate at Frontier RTP’s Out of Office Meetup for an informal evening connecting the people building, funding, researching, supporting, and exploring climate and clean technology across the region.

This gathering is designed to help founders meet potential collaborators, researchers connect with industry, funders discover emerging ideas, and climate-curious professionals find a way into the ecosystem. Expect open networking, useful conversations, and new connections across sectors, institutions, and experience levels.

About Carolina Climate

Carolina Climate is a founder-first community and ecosystem-building initiative working to strengthen North Carolina’s climate and clean tech economy. Through founder programs, regional gatherings, ecosystem partnerships, and initiatives such as Raleigh-Durham Climate Week, Carolina Climate connects entrepreneurs with the people, resources, capital, and visibility needed to build and scale impactful solutions. Its broader goal is to break down silos, strengthen collaboration, and help establish the Triangle as a nationally recognized center for climate innovation.

About Duke Design Climate

Design Climate is Duke University’s hub for climate-tech innovation. The program brings together students, faculty, founders, researchers, mentors, and industry partners to turn promising ideas into viable climate solutions. Through hands-on courses, venture and commercialization support, prototyping resources, innovation advisors, team formation, and ecosystem connections, Design Climate helps develop emerging leaders, products, and ventures addressing climate and sustainability challenges.
