Things like taking a dip in a refreshing pool, keeping hydrated with clean drinking water and watching the sky for signs of rain might come to mind.\nThere’s a reason for that: even though we are not a coast region, water is all around us … and even part of us! Join us August 15 to hear from 5 experts from around our region give their take on Water.\nSpeakers\nBrad Elkins | EOS Remediation\nMargaret Sands | Triangle Land Conservancy\nDavid DeMarini | Environmental Protection Agency\nFekadu Moreda | RTI International\nTBD | TBD\nAbout RTP180\nInnovation. Education. Industry. These are powerful angles—and what the Research Triangle Park is known for. At RTP180, speakers from our three founding universities, Park companies, and the community at-large are called upon to take the stage to speak passionately about what matters to them. Doors open at 5:00pm for networking, beer & popcorn. Show kicks off at 6:00pm.\nThe hashtag for this event is #RTP180 ( https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&vertical=default&q=%23RTP180&src=typd ). Get social with us by tagging @theRTP and @FrontierRTP.\nCan’t attend in person? The event will be live streamed here ( http://www.ncchannel.org/stream/ ) beginning at 6pm on Thursday, August 15. A week or so after, we will have it hosted on our website here ( https://www.rtp.org/program/rtp-180/ ).\n
